He’s also backed named artists such as Larry Butler, producer for Kenny Rogers and Willie Nelson; Country music gentleman George Hamilton the IV and his son the George Hamilton V; Dutch pop artist Toni Willé, lead vocalist of Pussycat in the1970’s; Legendary singer Narvel Felts who started his career in 1957 recording at the famous Sun Studio Memphis, one of the early Rockabilly artists; Toured with talented Irish singers Dominic Kirwan and Lisa Stanley; And played with several bands and entertainers on the UK country music circuit.

For 20 years Mark has enjoyed recording pedal steel parts for many artists and albums, recording for Nashville, European and UK producers. Mainly composing parts for original material, this he’s always considered the best bit! Notable artists he’s recently worked far are the Boudon Boys (Sweden) and Mered Morris (Wales); both truly unique, and a pleasure to for work for.

In early 2020, during lock-down, he recorded his first steel guitar instrumental album, Bars In A Line; that featured five of his original compositions, and nine of his favourite tunes played on steel guitar by the great players that had influenced him over the years.
